Remuxing is not new photography
Remuxing changes how existing media streams are packaged rather than creating new image detail. FFmpeg's streamcopy documentation describes copying encoded packets without decoding and re-encoding them. The quality of the original streams still matters.
WEB-DL and Blu-ray descriptions
These labels describe a claimed source. They do not establish that the result includes every language, bonus feature or cut associated with a film. Compare the complete edition description instead of choosing by one acronym.
Why size alone is inconclusive
Longer duration and additional soundtracks can increase the amount of data without increasing visible detail in a particular shot. Compare like-for-like editions if storage matters. An offline app's actual estimate is more useful than a guessed universal size.
The title is not the package
A production record remains useful while its available editions change. Save the film here, and manage an offered offline copy in the application that downloads it. The downloads guide explains that distinction.
