What 1080p tells you
A conventional Full HD picture is 1920 by 1080 pixels. It remains useful on many screens and connections. Its dimensions alone do not describe the source, compression or care used to prepare the video.
What 10-bit adds to a description
Bit depth concerns the available numerical levels used to represent picture components. It is not another word for resolution. A 10-bit description alone also does not establish that the edition is HDR or that every display will reproduce it as intended.
Animation and smooth gradients
Animation can include large areas of similar colour where poor compression or coarse steps are easy to notice. Inspect the actual picture if you are comparing offered editions. A format label cannot repair detail that is already absent from the source.
A sensible alternative to chasing 4K
Choose a steady Full HD option when it fits your device and available connection. Listen to the soundtrack and check subtitle readability as well. Those choices can improve the whole evening more than repeatedly switching between uncertain picture settings.
Anime to add to My List
Akira (1988) and Ghost in the Shell (1995) are distinct animated features with different stories and release years. Open a production before comparing its editions; a later restoration does not change the original release year on its movie record.
